A family business since 2017, with a young team
Boatrental Giethoorn has been a family business since 2017, run by a young team with a real passion for boats and tourism. Our idea is simple: you relax, we take care of the rest, from getting the boat ready to the route map and the navigation app.
You cruise in a luxury, whisper-quiet electric boat waiting for you at the entrance of the village canal, with free parking at the door. Our smart booking system lets you reserve online in two minutes, see instantly what is available and cancel for free if the weather lets you down. Self-drive boats depart from Zuiderpad 14A, Giethoorn. Canal cruises, private tours, our restaurant and Hotel Old Art are at Ds. T.O. Hylkemaweg 7, a two-minute walk away.

Boat rental runs from 09:00 until sunset; the closing time changes with the season. See opening hours.
How many boats do you have?
More than 40 electric self-drive boats for 4 to 12 people, four large canal boats for 44 to 52 guests and private boats up to 52. See our fleet.
