The Day Ticket takes the planning out of your day in Giethoorn. You book once, arrive when it suits you and find everything ready: your parking spot is reserved, the cruise boat departs at fixed times and you board whenever you are ready, and a hot drink is waiting for you at the partner restaurant next to the dock.

What is in the Day Ticket?
Your day in four steps
Park
Drive to our car park at Zuiderpad 14 in Giethoorn. Your space is reserved; show your voucher on arrival.
Walk to the dock
From the car park, walk along the water to the cruise dock at Ds. T.O. Hylkemaweg 7.
One-hour canal cruise
Departures at 10:30, 12:00, 13:30 and 15:00. Pick the one that suits you, arrive a few minutes early and show your voucher when boarding.
Coffee or tea
Collect your free hot drink at the partner restaurant next to the dock and plan the rest of your day with the village map.
Good to know
The Day Ticket is valid on one day during opening hours. The cruise boat is covered and heated and sails in all weather; from October to April we recommend warm clothing. The captain speaks English, Dutch and German.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Well-behaved dogs travel free on board, on your lap or at your feet; please bring a leash. Alcohol and drugs are not allowed on board.

Questions about the Day Ticket
How much is the Day Ticket?
€ 12.50 per person, including guaranteed parking, the one-hour canal cruise, the village map and a coffee or tea.
Do I have to pick a time for the cruise?
No. On the day you simply choose one of the departures at 10:30, 12:00, 13:30 or 15:00. Come to the dock a few minutes early and show your voucher.
Where exactly do I park?
At our own car park at Zuiderpad 14 in Giethoorn, at the entrance of the village. Your space is reserved all day.
Does the cruise run in the rain?
Yes. The boat is covered and heated, so the cruise sails in all weather. Only in thunderstorms or gales do we stay in; then we move your booking free of charge.
Can I cancel the Day Ticket?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before your visit.
Can my dog come along?
Yes, well-behaved dogs travel free on the canal cruise. Please bring a leash.
Is the Day Ticket worth it without a car?
