Old Art Hotel is right on our cruise dock in Giethoorn, at the same address as our own restaurant. The former De Pergola was given a new life with a theme we love: the Dutch Masters. Every room carries artistic details, warm colours and modern comfort.
Staying at Old Art Hotel means you skip the day-trip rush. Walk to the village in the morning before the crowds arrive, take a boat out when the light is at its best and sit down for dinner in the evening while the last cruise boats come in.

Why stay overnight in Giethoorn?
Most visitors see Giethoorn between 10:30 and 15:30, when the canals are busiest. Hotel guests get the two quiet ends of the day: an early boat trip when the water is like glass, and a stroll along the Binnenpad after the coaches have left.
From the hotel you are also well placed for the Weerribben-Wieden national park, the fortified town of Blokzijl and the UNESCO Colonies of Benevolence at Frederiksoord.
