Residence De Eese lies in the woods of De Bult, just outside Steenwijk. From your bungalow you step straight into the forest, yet Giethoorn is only a fifteen-minute drive. That makes it a good base if you want the peace of the trees at night and the canals during the day.
The park has a swimming pool, Restaurant Heerlijkheid and camping pitches, and it runs its own boat rental in Giethoorn. Prefer to start at our dock? Our boats leave from Zuiderpad 14A and from the Old Art dock at Hylkemaweg 7, both with free parking.

A day in Giethoorn from De Eese
Leave the park around nine, park at Zuiderpad 14A and take a two-hour boat route through the village and onto the Bovenwijde before the crowds arrive. Moor at a terrace or bring a picnic on board.
In the afternoon, join a one-hour canal cruise from our dock at Hylkemaweg 7 and have dinner at our restaurant. Back in the woods by sunset.
